My newest baby panda ~ Bao Zi Chu ~

I just finished my newest panda and couldn't wait to share him with you!  He is made from recycled mink fur (from coats).  I had so much fun with this little guy, and a lot of challenges too... it's amazing how much harder I find working in recycled fur as opposed to faux fur.

~ Shegisie ~ a baby brown phase black bear cub ~ on ebay :o)

Just a quick post to let you know that my newest baby bear, Shegisie, is on ebay... I hope you can take a look at his auction!

We saw three black bears while out driving on an old road.... beautiful creatures!  We also had 2 momma black bears in our neighbourhood this year - one of them had two cubs and one had 3.  At one point, there was a count of 11 bears within our neighbourhood!

~ OOAK Realistic BABY Egyptian Hedgehog ~

If you've seen those adorable photos of long eared Egyptian hedgehogs, you'd understand why I was inspired to create one :o) They are so adorable!

Here's my little one... he is created with faux fur and has open/close eyes and mouth. His name is Aah which is an Egyptian name meaning "moon"... a good name for a mostly nocturnal creature.

~ Naneso ~OOAK Realistic Faux Fur BABY BLACK BEAR CUB ~

Hello again! :o) I haven't had a lot of time to be on-line... have had a lot of company lately. But I have had time to create Naneso... by newest sweet black bear cub. His name means "my child" and he is so full of personality.

I just love the part about creating bears when the sweet personality really starts showing. As soon as I can open/close his eyes, I really feel that the bear has come to "life". Each extra detail adds to my excitement as I finish the bear. I spent so much time creating Naneso that by the time I was done he did feel like "my child".
