I have three creations on ebay right now... the layaways fell through on Jewel and Poppy, so I'm offering them again. Jewel (black bear) and Bao Huan (panda) have met their reserve of $500, so whoever has the high bid will win them. My needle felted bunny, Poppy, is also on there with a lower reserve of $200.

It just goes to show that....

.... once posted on the internet, some things will stay there indefinitely.

Take for instance the "Talking Baby Owl" and the "Talking John" apps on iTunes. It's been almost a year since I contacted both the developer of this app and Apple themselves to demand that this app be taken of the iTunes store as it infringed my copyright of my baby owl "Nascha". This was immediately acted on, but although I don't see it in the iTunes store anymore, there are still numerous advertising this app! Just one of them is here:

Best iPhone apps at AppStoreHQ Apparently, once something is added to iTunes, numerous websites will automatically show advertisement which is "out of the control" of either Apple or the developer. So I decided that rather than get all worked up about it and hitting my head on numerous brick walls, I'll use it for advertising. By referring to the above link on my blog, AppStore will use this blog post as a review. If you enjoyed seeing the photo of this baby owl, which is a one-of-a-kind soft sculpture by me, you are invited to see more of my work at www.melisas-bears-com. Panda bear coming up!

I'm busy working at a panda bear right now... I've been working on him for 3 weeks so far - the recycled fur pandas are always a big project. I've decided to make this one a closed mouth panda and spend more time getting him as realistic as I can. He's definitely a baby... I'm just loving his shape and proportions... so far so good!

This panda is a bigger than my recycled mink fur ones, so I went with recycled fox fur this time. It's so soft & warm and gives him such a fluffy realistic look. I still have some details to work on, but I hope I'll have photos for you by Sunday :o)
